Lost Boy on TV!

June 28th, 2008 Posted in Harvest Crusades, lost boy, travel

I am still here in Florida, where it has been beautiful! I did an interview with the local newspaper here yesterday and enjoyed the weather a bit.

Tonight and Sunday, I will be speaking at Calvary Chapel here in Fort Lauderdale, which is pastored by Bob Coy. Bob will be one of our featured speakers at the upcoming Preach The Word Conference.

BTW, if you have not signed up for that, you really ought to ASAP. It will be an amazing time with some of our nation’s finest communicators of the Word!

A blast from the past

I came across this video recently and thought I would share it with you. It is a video diary of a guy who went to the FIRST Harvest Crusade in Southern California back in 1990.

Check it out!

    The Youtube video is awesome!
My brother and I have a very good friend who went to that crusade and went forward. Immediately, he was delivered from drugs, anger, and a filthy mouth. We were able to see this amazing transformation take place overnight, truely only something that God could have done! As we all went to church together, we got to see our new “brother” grow spiritually, become a church leader, and eventually attend Bible college, where he met his future wife. Our friends were married in the mid-1990’s and have been serving as Calvary Chapel missionaries in Brazil, chruch planting.
And this is all because of God’s grace and mercy and your faithfulness and obedience to the Lord to tell others of God’s love for them in a non-threatening environment. I can’t thank you enough, Pastor Greg, for telling Kevin about Jesus in a way that made sense to him. After years of planting seeds, we got to witness his harvest!
