On Sunday, I had the opportunity to preach to some bikers.

Many of them were not your “weekend warrior” wannabes like me, but real, genuine hardcore outlaw bikers. According to a police officer I spoke with, there were at least two “outlaw” gangs present.

Having said that, let me also say that they were one of the most attentive and respectful audiences I have ever spoken to!

Not only did I share the Christmas story, but also a gospel message. They stood quietly and took it in, and at the end, when I led those who wanted to accept Christ in a prayer, many of them responded.

We gave away some 250 New Believer’s Bibles that we had brought with us.

The joy on children’s faces

This was all a part of the Fred Jordan Mission’s annual toy drive, which is attended by thousands of generous bikers across the Southland. You could see the delight on the children’s faces as they were given toys and other gifts to brighten their Christmas.

This is the second year that I have gone, and I loved every minute of it! It rained pretty hard in the morning, but by the time our ride began, the roads were dry and clear.

So thanks for your prayers. And especially remember to pray for some of those bikers who hopefully made that commitment to Christ.

    Merry Christmas Pastor Greg,
That was great to see you riding your bike on that short clip and to see all of those bikers also. I belive that some of the people that seem to be the furthest away from the Lord are the easiest for the Lord to reach them and touch their hearts. That was a great Christmas message that you gave, and I’m trying to not let the hussle and bussle to get in the way of the real reason for the season which is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Again, Merry Christmas to you and all of your family!!!

    Hi Pastor Greg!

Thanks for sharing!! I was wondering if you had an event with the Fred Jordan mission this year like last year. It’s nice to see you shared the Good News with the bikers, totally awesome! One of many examples that the Lord is and can be preached to any crowd and in any place, Glory to God!

Is there a video online that we can chek out?

Hugs to you and your family, and congrats to your Aunt Willie for such a wonderful ministry :)

    It’s almost Christmas!!

I heard of a Pastor once that was asked to do a funeral for a particularly ruthless biker…He was stumped as how to conduct this service as he could find nobody with anything good to say about the man, but just the opposite…There was also a certain fear factor along with this situation because the man had belonged to a very violent gang and all were to be in attendance…He finally went with “he led an awful life, was mean, never lived for good,” etc. and “is in a place called hell right now and a lot of you could be joining him if you don’t change your ways” etc….he had an alter call right there at the funeral and many, many were saved. Oh the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ!!!! oh, by the way, my hubby is a biker…Christian first, but a biker..

Pastor Greg it was so nice of you to dress for the occasion! Be careful the LAPD doesn’t mistake you for one of the outlaws! Those guys can’t be all bad if they came to make Christmas bright for the children and if their hearts can be touched by the little ones, Jesus can get in there too. Next year we want to see all of the outlaws wearing symbols of Christ. (chuck the skulls and crossbones please!)Keep rock’in Big B. Aunt Willie too. (Merry Christmas Aunt Willie.)
