This Weekend at Harvest/Riverside

February 26th, 2011 Posted in sermons

Are you facing a really hard time in your life right now?
Are you in one of those situations where if God does not come through for you, then there is no solution?
If so, rejoice!
I have a message for you this weekend at Harvest/Riverside that will address those issues and more.
The title is “Walking with Jesus through the Storms of Life.”
We all love to walk with Jesus, especially when the sun is shining and we are going to places we want to go to.
But very few people want to go through a “storm,” or a hardship in life.
Yet, it is in these very places we will see Jesus like we have never seen Him before.
So, come join us at Harvest/Riverside this weekend at one of our four services.
7:45/9:45/11:45 am and 5:00 pm.
It will all be webcast live at www.harvest.org.

I was rewatching the videos from the website for Christophers memorial…. I was touched before, but needed those words again. My nephew and his girlfriend lost their newborn baby last Sunday… he was born at 1:10pm and died at Loma Linda Childrens hospital at 7:20pm. Would you please pray with me that this family would come to know the Lord in a real and deeper way, that Grandma would renew her comminttment to God, and that another Grandpa would find his way out of being angry with God and find some understanding that God knows best. Also that God will strenghten all of us and help me and empower me to minister to this struggling family and bring others to help them through this devastating time of grief. Thanks for the prayers! I believe in prayer.

I won’t be able to make it out to hear the message but I would love to hear it. I’m going the worst storm that I brought upon myself. I need Gods strength and mercy through this. Pray for me. How can I get this message today?

You almost made me cry just reading those first two lines. It has been a very rough week for me to the point where I felt pushed to edge. I look forward to hearing this message to knock me back out of the dark place I’m in and hope to make it back for the evening service.
