Gone Fishing

June 20th, 2011 Posted in sermons

We are off to Auckland, New Zealand for our first Harvest Crusade of 2011. We appreciate your prayers for this outreach to this wonderful nation.

My message for the Kiwis is simple. I am going to tell them about who Jesus Christ is and how to come into a relationship with Him.

Pray that the Lord will guide our steps and give me boldness to share the essential gospel message. Paul asked for prayer in the following way:

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:18-19 NIV)

Jesus told us that we are go “Fishing for men.” A literal translation of that phrase is “Catch men alive.” That’s exactly what we are going to do.

God bless you all.
