This Weekend at Harvest Riverside and Orange County

March 31st, 2012 Posted in sermons

The title of my message this Palm Sunday  is “Spring Cleaning.”
Palm Sunday of course is the day Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
But after that, he cleansed the Temple.
Jesus cleaned house and drove out those who were keeping people away from God.
Could you use a little “spiritual housecleaning”?
Are there some vices, sins, and things you know are wrong that have found their way into your life?
Then you will want to hear this message.
It’s all webcast live at www.harvest.org.

    Pastor Greg,
I appreciate you and your passion for Jesus. I only wish a small tip in the balances giving more weight to our prayers moving the heart of God. He is thoroughly, utterly sovereign while desirous of nothing more than our dependency on perpetual dialogue with Him. As a loving Farher, He wants to hear our desires and whises, I believe, to grant many of these wishes to His fully devoted children. This does not mean He alters the ultimate outcome for His people or the world. Isn’t this a more scriptural mindset for prayer? I truly want the most accurate philosophy on prayer and have read Andrew Murray. I love his statement which says, “Prayer is still the appointed means for drawing down these heavenly blessings in power on ourselves and those around us.” Secrets of Prayer, pg. 21. MOSTLY, may I say that I and every other born again follower of Christ need not waste time, energy dissecting most truths. Instead, we need to take what we know and what we have experienced and in the simplest of terms tell it to our audience at every given moment. Help us, help me Lord Jesus. Kelly <
