Tonight is the last night of the LA Harvest!

September 9th, 2012 Posted in sermons

We have an amazing lineup of music and more.

We will hear from the Katinas, Phil Wickham, Steven Curtis Chapman, as well as Lecrae!

I will also be interviewing a young man with a story that will touch your heart. His name is Nick Vujicic. Nick was born without limbs yet is one of the most joyful people I have ever met. His struggles and story will inspire you to face whatever crisis or tragedy that comes your way.

Speaking of crisis, my message title is “God’s Cure for Heart Trouble.” It is based on the words of Jesus in John 14 when He says “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Certainly we live in a troubled world today, with so many things pressing in on us causing stress, fear, and anxiety.

So if you or someone you know has a troubled heart, make sure you come TONIGHT.
Remember, we start at 4:00 PM and it will be webcast LIVE at  www.harvest.org.

One final thing:

Last night at Dodger Stadium was fantastic!
We saw 33,000 in attendance with 3,647 professions of faith!

To God be the glory.

Praise the Lord. This is good news that God is using you as His instrument of change in this generation. I am blessed so much. Please come to our country of Tanzania and you will bless our people. Thousands of people even upto 200,000 can attend your crusade and hear your message which is powerful and touching.
    Please come to Africa Tanzania.

  2. Mary says:

I had tears while listening to Steve Chapman sing his beautiful songs of his precious daughter. One tear, two, & more. That is the beauty of the Holy Spirit working in me. I brought my husband & he admired Pastor Greg’s ministry. What touched me the most…going to the car was an incredible (SUNSET w/ grey clouds with gorgeous sunrays) sighting of God’s closure to Dodger stadium. Glory to God’s gracious skies & the WORD. Thank You GREG for all you do :)

  3. Hank Bruflodt says:

All the countless, unfathomable hours of praying, planning, organizing and working by so many people comes down to one-minute per night, the harvest itself.

Seeing people come forward to accept our Wonderful Lord and Savior into their lives or to return Home to Him, is something that is always very moving to any believer.

However, being on the field (as a counsellor) and HEARING all those voices all around you praying out loud at Greg’s leading, is something that gives me goose bumps every single time I think of it!

I cannot imagine how all the angels of Heaven can handle soooo much joy! I could hardly sleep each night it was so exciting.

I thank the Lord for His love in bringing so many people Home to Him, and for Greg and Cathe and all those brothers and sisters who were blessed to be part of His work. May the Lord bless and keep all these new and returning believers that next year He may do something even more amazing.

To God be the glory, indeed. But we all love you too Greg, so much, for your faithfulness became a blessing to all of us too.

  4. Melanie says:

I’m struggling in my walk also. I believe that there is a major attack on the body of Christ right now, and while I’m not really one to attribute everything to satan, I really think so many in the body are being oppressed.

I too struggle with being in the word, for me personally I just do everything I can to stay focused on Christ, from listening to bible studies while working out to listening only to Christian music. My walk was SO on fire when I’ve done that in the past. I’ve just let so many things of the world creep in.

Anyway, the topic of the blog… :)

The crusade was amazing tonight. I’m listening to the message over again right now. I’ll continue to pray for those that came forward over the weekend.

Thank you pastor Greg for everything!

Pastor Greg this an awesome thing you are doing. I listen to your radio show daily it is the reason I recommitted myself a few weeks ago. I am still struggling with it all and find it hard to make the time to read the Word. Any advice would be great
