Is There an App for That?

January 2nd, 2013 Posted in sermons

We are at the beginning of a new year, and hopefully that means we all want to be starting this new year on the right foot spiritually.

Could an iPhone/iPad/Android app help us to do that?
I believe it could and I have just the app for you.

It’s called the Harvest app.

There is no charge to download this and immediately begin to enjoy an extensive collection of teaching that I have done over the past number of years on multiple topics from Bible prophecy to book-by-book studies.

Not only that, but the Harvest app will help you read through the entire Bible in a year.
This app also includes our daily radio broadcast, TV program, as well as my daily devotion.

Again, I remind you it’s absolutely free!
So what are you waiting for? Download it now and dig in to the Word of God in 2013!
You can download the app right here:

I am a “smart” person (well, at least my mom says so) with a dumb phone. :P Therefore I can’t use the Harvest app. I am going to read my through my Bible but I was hoping someone could suggest a “read through the Bible in a year plan”. There are so many different ones to use that I kind of just don’t know where to start. So I am coming you for help because I trust your opinion. Thank you so much!

    Greg,
It was a watching Levi today and that has brought my walk with Jesus into a clear point of understanding. Our family lived in Corona and started going to Harvest in Riverside with and because a close friend of ours lost his five year old brother in a car wreck on the 91 freeway. It was a minor incident really just a sideswipe but the little five year old was in a van and playing down in that little area that works as a step for the sliding door. Gilbert our friend was not in the accident. When he found out he was devastated. He started going to Harvest and invited our family. We all attended regularly until we moved to different areas. I was Baptized at lake Paris during a Baptizing you held there. My brothers all stayed in California and attend different Calvary Churches. Both are involved in music ministries at their church.
Ten years ago I was married to my soul mate. We lived in Arizona close enough to go to Pastor Pat Lazovich’s at Calvary Sierra Vista. Five of the ten years I was married I tried and help my beautiful young wife battle breast cancer. For five years we thought God would take the cancer away. So not only can death come in an instant. Death can take years. So when Levi said you are lucky to have time or notice that sombody is leaving for Heaven, really I found those last five years to be the best time of my life. Every day was hard but sweet and precious. My wife passed into heaven April 28th. From the time she was living a “normal” life until she decided she wanted to be with Jesus it took three weeks and only the last week as the cancer had moved into the brain did she slip into a coma. So I pray everyday as I know Pastor Chuck and Pastor Levi “come Lord and get your church today”
Thank you Pastor for the role you have played in having let God use you to bring only God knows how many souls to Jesus. I know more and could write a book but….. God Bless you Greg
