Come Join Us for Our 40th Anniversary Weekend: ReEnvision!
March 16th, 2013 Posted in sermonsTonight is the beginning of our big weekend at Harvest where we celebrate 40 years of ministry. We are calling it ReEnvision: Reflecting on the Past, Preparing for the Future.
We call it ReEnvision because, though our primary principles have not changed, our culture does change. So we want to “re-envision” as we continue to impact our world in a relevant, but always a biblical, way.
Saturday night is a time of looking back at what the Lord has done. As I have reflected on what God has done these past 40 years I would have to say, next to the name “Jesus,” the word that comes to mind that sums up what we have done is faith.
From our very beginning, we have taken bold steps of faith.
Faith is belief plus action.
Faith sees what could be.
And faith has no back door.
God has honored that faith that comes from hearing His Word and we give Him all the glory.
Saturday Night
Our Saturday eve service will include a flyover of 40 years of worship songs and styles!
We will have many friends joining as well, including Crystal Lewis, Marty Goetz, the Tommy Coomes Praise Band, and Benny Hester.
I will be giving a message as well. This service starts at 6:00 PM.
Sunday Morning
My good friend, Bob Coy, the Senior Pastor of one the largest churches in America, Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale, will be speaking at all morning services.
Bob has great wit and wisdom and will be a blessing to us all.
Sunday Night
This is the final service of our weekend celebration where we will be looking to our future.
We will talk more about our upcoming Harvest America event as well as show you a trailer from our new film, Hope for Hurting Hearts that you will not want to miss.
We will also have special music from our good friend Phil Wickham!
I will give a message on looking to the future as well.
This service is at both our Riverside and Orange County campuses.
Riverside starts at 5:00 pm. Orange County at 7:00.

My husband and I have been listening to Pastor Greg daily on A New Beginning radio for about 6 months now. We live in San Diego and decided to make the trip up for this weekends service. It is our first time to Harvest Church and we are very excited to come worship. Will Pastor Greg be speaking at any of the Sunday morning services?
Wow. Such a blessing to be able to watch the 40th Anniversery Celeberation from all the way over here in Vermont! Alls I can say is this is one reason I am thankful for Technology. Great to see Bob Probert joining in for worship too. Very Cool. Loved the intro with Greg and Cathe…Singing together!
